“Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.” — Romans 15:7
What to Expect

A simple Sunday.
A warm welcome.

Three things you can count on every time you walk through our doors.

— 01

Worship together

We sing songs old and new — anchored in Scripture, sung by an unrehearsed family more than a polished band. Stand, sit, raise your hands, or just listen. There is no pressure to perform.

— 02

The Word preached

The center of our gathering is the open Bible. You will hear the gospel — not a self-help talk, not a political sermon. About 35 minutes, with notes you can take home.

— 03

A real welcome

Come early or stay late for coffee. An elder, a deacon, or a regular member will introduce themselves. If you would rather slip in and out, that is fine too — no one is keeping track.

Kids & Families

Your kids are
genuinely welcome.

Children are a gift to the whole church family. Bring them to the service with you, or use our age-appropriate kids’ programming during the message.

Our children’s team is background-checked, trained, and led by parents from the church. Check-in opens 15 minutes before the service. Restless babies are no problem in the main room — we have rocking chairs in the back and a quiet space if you need it.

Have questions before you arrive? Email hello@gracesarasota.org and a parent from our team will write back personally.

Common Questions

Everything you
might be wondering.

What should I wear?

Whatever feels comfortable. You will see jeans, sundresses, suits, and t-shirts on any given Sunday. Sarasota is warm — dress for warm.

Where do I park?

Free parking on site at 4350 17th Street. If the lot fills up, additional street parking is available on adjacent blocks.

Is the building accessible?

Yes — the main entrance, sanctuary, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific needs, let us know in advance and we will make sure your visit is easy.

How long is the service?

About 90 minutes — typically from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes — for infants through age 3. Older kids have age-grouped programming during the message.

What if I am not a Christian?

You are very welcome here. There is no expectation that you sing, give, or believe what we believe before you come. Come listen, ask questions, and meet some of the people. The gospel is good news worth weighing.

Will anyone single me out?

No. We do not ask first-time guests to stand, raise a hand, or fill out a card. If you want to introduce yourself, an elder will be at the back after the service. If you would rather not, that is welcome too.

A Note for the CTMI Family

Visiting from a sister church?

If you are part of a CTMI congregation passing through Sarasota — Mauritius, Mexico, the UK, anywhere — you are not a guest. You are family. Come early; there are people who would love to hear how the Lord is moving where you are from.
