Grace Fellowship Church (“Grace,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a local church located at 4350 17th Street, Sarasota, FL 34235. Our website is gracesarasota.org. You can reach us at hello@gracesarasota.org or (941) 275-9088.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or interact with us, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep the data we collect to a minimum and to use it only for the purposes you would expect from a local church.
When you contact us through the website. If you fill out our contact form, send us an email, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the name, email, phone number, and any message you provide. We use this information only to respond to you, follow up on your request, or send you the communications you signed up for.
When you give online. Online giving is processed by our secure giving partner. Grace does not store your card or bank information on our own servers. The giving partner’s privacy policy governs that data — we recommend you review it directly.
When you visit the website. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical information automatically — your IP address, the type of browser you use, the pages you view, and the dates and times of those visits. We use this information to keep the site running well and to understand which content is most helpful.
Cookies and analytics. We use cookies for essential site function and, optionally, for privacy-respecting analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may behave differently.
Photos and video at services. We sometimes photograph or record our Sunday gatherings for ministry purposes — sermon recordings, ministry updates, and social media. If you would prefer not to be in any photos or videos, please let an usher or elder know on Sunday and we will accommodate.
We do not buy mailing lists. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not run targeted-advertising pixels on the website at this time.
We use the information we collect to respond to messages and prayer requests, send the communications you sign up for, process and acknowledge your gifts, plan and improve the ministries of the church, and comply with our legal obligations as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We share your information only with our giving processor (for gifts you make through the giving page), our email service provider (for newsletters you opt into), our website host and analytics tool (for routine site operation), and authorities, when required by law.
We never share your prayer requests or pastoral conversations outside of the elders and pastoral team, except where we are required by law (for example, in cases involving the safety of a minor or imminent harm).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information through the website, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete information about you, unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time using the link in the email, and opt out of analytics cookies in your browser settings. To exercise any of these, email hello@gracesarasota.org with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will respond within a reasonable time.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. Our website uses HTTPS (encrypted connection). Our giving partner is PCI-DSS compliant. No system is perfectly secure — but we treat your information with care and confidentiality.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Significant changes will also be announced on our website.
If you have any questions about this policy or about how Grace handles your information, please reach out — hello@gracesarasota.org or (941) 275-9088.
